In just one short week it's recently soared up eleven slots making its way to 26 out of 61 slots on Europe's record pool charts and has also made numerous rounds on other record pool charts including Illinois Record Pool and Starfleet Music Pool. DJ Vlad has also jumped on board to featuring the single on one of his mixtapes among other underground mixtape DJs. Not to mention that she's the 2006 recipient of New England's Urban Music Award for best R&B band performance. In the midst of the growing success of the debut single, "Can't Wait," Lovely Hoffman is back at it again with the release of the Hip Hop remix to "Can't Wait" featuring Streetz and Young Deuces, a rising Midwest-based Hip Hop duo.
Co-produced and written by Lovely herself and mixed by Ken Lewis (with credits working with the likes of Mariah Carey, Usher, Janet Jackson, Kanye West, and Mary J. Blige) "Can't Wait" is a feel good single that flirts with the anticipation of love coming home. It's a single with lyrics that women can reminisce on and flowing with a bass line that will also warm up to men. With the addition of Streetz and Young Deuces the single undoubtedly builds with a new energy, new sound, and a new style.
A native of Boston's Roxbury neighborhood, Lovely Hoffman is an accomplishment in her own right in just a short period since her unveiling to the R&B music scene. She's graced major stages performing alongside fellow R&B artists, Ne-yo, T-Pain, and Lloyd, and even singing the national anthem in front of over 34,000 fans in world famous Fenway Park. She also writes and produces her own material. Also distinguished by her philanthropic missions, Lovely will be traveling to Africa along with six deserving students for a first-hand experience and life changing views on the continent. Matter of factly, her single, "Motherland," pays homage to the continent and names all the countries and capitals of Africa in a powerful tribute song.
